The sum of $495,000 is hereby transferred among accounts within Fund 212 as set forth below. This appropriation shall be administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development and its subgrantees, in accordance with the 2009 Housing and Community Development (HCD) Action Plan, which is hereby approved and incorporated by reference with respect to the following distributions: Reduce the following: Amount CD06 - 8107 REWARD 15,686 CD06 - 8104 CHC 2,171 CD07 - 8113 Rebuilding Together 4,269 CD07 - 8100 Program Delivery 93,791 CDOS - 8141 NPC PW 18,148 CD06 - 8141 NPC PW 92,684 CD07 - 8141 NPC PW 203,139 CD07 - 8134 Indiana Plan 23,850 CD07 - 8170 SBPD Neighborhood Watch 13,281 CD07 - 8171 SBPD Foot Patrol 48 2007 -Excess Program Income 27,933 Total $495,000 Increase the following: Amount 2009 Rebuilding Together, Inc. 125,000 2009 Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc.- Administration 80,400 2009 South Bend Heritage Foundation, Inc -. Jefferson Blvd. Suite 400 South Bend, IN 46601 Dear President Rouse: October 20, 2008 The attached bill for the Council's consideration and approval will transfer 5495,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) fiords as part of the 2009 Action Plan of the 2005 - 2009 Housing & Community Development Plan. As the Council will recall, the proposed allocation of funds was discussed with the Community & Economic Development Committee on October 6, 2008, and made public beginning September 26, 2008 fora 30-day public comment period. The plan was also the subject of 2 public hearings on October 9th. This bill is a companion to the CDBG.general appropriation bill of $2,261,981 also filed today.
