A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM
ROSE BRICK,LLC
WHEREAS, ROSE BRICK, LLC (the "Owner") is the owner of certain property
identified herein; and
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission"), the
governing body of the South Bend, Indiana, Department of Redevelopment (the "Department")
and of the Redevelopment District of the City of South Bend, Indiana (the "Redevelopment
District"), exists and operates under the provisions of I.C. 36-7-14, as amended from time to time
(the"Act") and is a body corporate and politic; and
WHEREAS, the Department, by and through the Commission, has presented to the
Owner, a request for the transfer to the Commission of certain real property previously acquired
by the Owner and set forth herein(collectively referred to as the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Owner is willing to transfer the Property to the Commission, without
cost to the Commission, for the redevelopment purposes of the Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS:
1. The transfer of the following described real property situated in St. Joseph County,
Indiana:
Lot B of Oliver Plow Works, First Major - Section One, First Replat, recorded on
February 2, 2012, as Document No. 1203040, in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph
County, Indiana, containing 0.34282 Acre, more or less.
Tax Key No.: 18-3061-235104
Commonly Known As: Oliver Plow Park Memorial
by the Owner to the Commission, without consideration, shall be, and hereby is, approved and
authorized.
2. The Director of Redevelopment for the City of South Bend shall cause the
recording of the quit claim deed conveying all the right, title and interest of ROSE BRICK, LLC
in and to the Property to the City of South Bend, for the use and benefit of its Department of
Redevelopment.
3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption.
ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on July 24,
202, at 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, Room 1308, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
