AN ORDINANCE providing for the transfer of appropriated
funds in the amount of $225.00.from BUDGETARY ITEM E -12, en-
titled "PRO TEM SPECIAL JUDGES & JURIES -- $800.00" to Budget-
ary Item E -72 entitled "Equipment" sub item 721 entitled
"Furniture and Fixtures" as set forth in the Budget for the
Office of City Judge of South Bend for the year 1956, Repealing
any and all conflicting Ordinances and Declaring an Extra-
ordinary Emergency,

It has been brought to the attention of the Common
Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana that there is a
need in the office of the City Judge of South Bend certain
office equipment;
NOW a ;a ORDAINED-by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana,
Section 1. That for the purpose and needs of the office of
City Judge there is hereby transferred the sum of $225.00
from Budgetary Item E -12 entitled "PRO TEM Special Judges
& Juries" to Budgetary Item E -72 entitled "Equipment" sub -
item #721 entitled "Furniture and Fixtures" as set forth in
the Budget for the Office of City Judge of South Bend for
the year 1956.
Section 2. That any and all ordinances in conflict with
Section 1 of this ordinance be and the same are hereby
repealed.
Section 3. That the sum of money enumerated in Section 1
of this ordinance is required for the proper operation and
function of the aforementioned office of the government of
the City of South Bend Indiana, and an extra- ordinary
emergency is declared to exist concerning said appropriation.

Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effecVfrom and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appropriations.
