ORDINANCE NO. 4103
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEIVENTING ZONING
ORDINANCE NO. 3702, AS HERETOFORE AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CORUMN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended, be
and the same is hereby amended and supplemented by zoning the
following described property as "All Residence District and "A"
Height and Area District:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 375, Twyckenham
Hills, Section "G ", present city limits; thence north
along the west line of the east half of the southeast
quarter (SEO of Section 19, Township 37 North, Range 3
East, a distance of 1155 feet to the east and west center
line of said Section 19; thence north along the west line
of the east half of the Northeast quarter (NE4) 646.5 feet
to the Plat of Wilmore Hills, Section "A "; thence easterly
along the southern boundary of the Plain of Wilmore Hills,
Section "A't and Wilmore Hills, Section "B ", 661.75 feet
to the southeast corner of Wilmore Hills, Section "B ";
thence easterly 656.79 feet to a point on the east line of
said Section 19, which point is 661.2 feet northerly from
the east Quarter section corner; thence southerly along
the easterly line of said Section 19, a distance of 661.2
feet to the east Quarter Section corner; thence still
south along the said easterly line of said Section 19, a
distance of 990 feet; thence west 727.70 feet; thence south
parallel with and 727.70 feet west of the east line of said
Section 19, a distance of 770.35 feet to the present city
limits; thence west along the present city limits, a dis-
tance of 736.25 feet; thence north along the present city
limits 607.35 feet to the south line of Twyekenham Hills,
Section "G"; thence east along the present city limits
146.80 feet to the place of beginning, excepting therefrom,
however, the following described parcel of real estate:
Beginning at a point 10 feet North and 40 feet West of
the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE-_:),
Section 19, Township 37 North, Range 3 East; thence
West parallel with and 10 feet South of the East and
West center line of said Section 19, a distance of
687.70 feet; thence South 435 feet; thence East parallel
with and 445 feet South of the said East and West center
line of such Section 19, a distance of 687.70 feet to a
point 40 feet West of the East line of said Section 19,
(center line of Ironwood Drive); thence North 435 feet
to the place of beginning, containing 6.86 acres.

following described property as "C -2'1 Commercial District:
Beginning at a point 10 feet North and 40 feet West of the
Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE:), Section 19;
Township 37 North, Range 3 East; thence West parallel with
and 10 feet South of the East and Nest center line of said
Section 19, a distance of 687.70 feet; thence South 435
feet; thence East parallel with and 445 feet South of the
said Last and West center line of such Section 19, a dis-
tance of 687.70 feet to a point 40 feet West of the East
line of said Section 19, (center line of Ironwood Drive);
thence North 435 feet to the place of beginning, contain-
ing 6.86 acres.

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publication.

Gentlemen:
Attached petition of Place and Company to zone certain
lands in recently annexed TNychenham Hills section H
was legally advertised under date of 25 June, 1956, and
public hearing held on 5 July, 1956. The ordinance sup-
plementing said petition Which ordinance differs from the
petition by excluding that part of petition relative to
IIBI' Residential Zoning is favorably recommended.
