BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I: The following sums of money are hereby transferred and appro- priated: From Office of City Clerk, Cw36, Office Supplies, $200. 00, to Office of City Clerk, C -725, Office Equipment (Typewriter $200.00); from Fire Department, Q -11, Service - Personal, $10,300. 00: To Fire Department, Q »724, Motor Equipment, $5300.00 (Two passenger cars and one truck); to Fire Department, 0-726, Other Equipment, $3000. 00 (Fire Hose); to Fire, Department, Q »331, Gasoline, $2000.00, all of the budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana for 1956 and declaring an extraordinary emergency. SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and functioning of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the year 1956 and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers and appropriations.
