AN ORDINANCE-FIXING THE SALARY
OF 14DOERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1956 AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND.PARTS
OF ORDI1ANCES IN.CONFLICT THERE-
WITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the civil City of South Bend, Indiana,
that:
section 1: In compliance with an act of The'1955 General Assembly of the
State of Indiana the salary of members of the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana is fixed at $1800.00 per year effective as of January 1,
1956.
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repeaied.to the extent to which the same are in conflict.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
