AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $19,000.00
FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO FIRE DEPART-
MENT Q -724 MOTOR EQUIPMENT OF THE BUDGET
FOR 1955 OF TIRE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I: The sum of $19,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the General
Fund to Fire Department Q -724 Motor Equipment of the budget for 1955 of the
civil City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION II: Said fund is required for the proper operation and funetibAiag
of the aforementioned Department under the budget for the year 1955 and an
extraordinary emergency is hereby declared to exist requiring said appropriati,
SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and legal publi-
cation and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements pertaining to emergen
appropriations.
