AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A
CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF
MISHAWAKA CONCERNING REPAIR
OF BOUNDARY BRIDGES.
WHEREAS, in 1950 repairs to the Logan Street Bridge were shared by
South Bend and Mishawaka in the proportion of one — fourth to South Bend and
three — fourths to Mishawaka and
WHEREAS, needed repairs to the Ironwood Bridge must be made in the
proportion of one — fourth to Mishawaka and three — fourths to South Bend and
.1iEREAS, the Citir of South Bend through its Board of Public Works
and Safety has entered into a contract with the City of Mishawaka providing
that all future repairs to the Logan Street Bridge shall be the exclusive
obligation of the City of Mishawaka and all future repairs to the Ironwood
Bridge shall be the exclusive obligation of the City of South Bend,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council:
Section I: That the contract entered into between the City of Mishawaka
and the City of South Bend by and through their respective Boards of Public
Works and Safety under date of October P9 h , 1954, a copy
of which is appended hereto, is hereby approved, ratified and confirmed,
