BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I: It shall be unlawful for any person to carry any alcoholic spirituous beverage or beverage containing alcohol into any public building, park, school, playground, recreation or athletic field, stadium or place where- in any public entertainment or public meeting is held for the purpose of con- suming the same or -for displaying the same or for the purpose of selling, furnishing or giving away the same to another on said premises or for the purpose of having the same then or there served to him or another, and it shall be unlawful for any person to consume the same in any said place or consume the same upon the streets, alleys or sidewalks of said City. SECTION II: The provisions of this Ordinance shall not apply to any place properly licensed by the Alcoholic Beverage Commission of Indiana. SECTION III: Upon conviction of any offense enumerated in Section I hereof, such person shall be fined in any sum not less than $25.00 nor more th $100.00 to which may be added imprisonment in the County Jail for not more than 10 days. SECTION IV: All existing Ordinances of the City of South Bend that may be inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
