ORDINANCE NO. 5 , BEING AN ORDINANC:
AMENDING ORDINI 3702, AS AMENDED,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE -OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
Section 1. Ordinance No. 3702, as amended, which
ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is
amended in order that the zoning classification of the
following described real estate in the City of South Bend,
St. Joseph County, State of Indiana:
Commencing on the south line of Ruskin Street
at a point 136 feet East of the east line of
Esther Street, thence South 297 feet; thence
East 332.45 feet; thence North 297 feet to the
south line of Ruskin Street; thence West 333.46
feet, more or less, along the south line of
Ruskin Street to the.place of beginning.
be and the same hereby is changed from a "B" Residence Use
District and an "A" Height and Area District to a "D" Light
Industrial Use District and an "E" Height and Area District.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council,
approval by the Mayor, and legal publication.

carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the
Common Council.
