BILL N0.50-08 -ALLEY VACATION JUST WEST OF 807 W. WASHINGTON
Chairperson Varner called the meeting to order and asked the petitioner, Jim Bognar, for his
presentation. Mr. Bognar indicated his petition received favorable recommendations from the
Engineer's office, the Community & Economic Development Department, the Area Plan
Commission and the Police Department. The Fire Department had concerns about access to
cross-alley structures; but access assurances placated any of these worries. These concerns
resolved, Tom LaFountain motioned followed by a second from Henry Davis to send the petition
to Council with a favorable recommendation.
There being no further business to come before the committee, Chairperson Varner adjourned
the meeting at 3:52 p.m.
