ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE
OF CERTAIN PERSONAL - PROPERTY OWNED
BY THE.CITY OF SOUTH BEND..
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION T. That the following personal property belonging to the City of
South Bend be sold for not less than the full appraised value thereof:
1- Sweeper #41r - Motor & Trans. out and Replace; 1-
Austin Western Roll-A -Plane #50; 1 -Sewer Dragging
machine without motor; 1 -15 Ft. Smoke Stack Steel;
1 -Metal Bucket Steel; 1 -Mixer with motor; 1-Snow Plow
without attachments; 1- Tractor #47 - Oliver; 1-Austin
Western Sweeper wiihout.motor; 1 -Oil Tank about 300 gal.
cap.; 1- Hercules Power Motor & Pump Pressure; 2 -Small
Rollers without attachments; 1- Waukesha Water Pump; 1-
Large Steam Pressure Boiler "Lidgerwood "; 1500 or more
Jacks & Bars & Misc. pieces;.l -Le Roi Motor; 1-Shed
full of round steel forms for sewer tunnels; 2- Bundles
metal reinforcement mash for street concrete; 6 -Kegs
of cap screws for sewer forms 1 1 /y.t x 1/21; 1 -Rex
Motor; 2- 6weeper Buckets; 1-Shed full of pine & Misc.
Junk & Steel Pipe; 1-Wander Cement Mixer; 30- 5 Ft. 5"
Pipe (Soilpipe); 1- Electric Motor Generator from old
plant;,l- parts of Sweeper - Austin Western; 15 -Reels

SECTION II: That the Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court be requested to
appoint three disinterested free - holders of the City of South Bendy Indiana to
appraise said property hereinabove described.
SECTION III: That the Board of Public Works and Safety shall have authority
to sell said property for not less than the full appraised value thereof and
deliver to the purchaser a good and sufficient bill of sale executed by the
Mayor in the name of the City and attested by the City Clerk and with the seal
of the City.
SECTION IV: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its :adoption by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
