ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE
SANITATION DEPARTMENT TO STREET
DEPARTMENT AND EMPLOYING THE CITY
ENGINEER IN A SUPERVISORY CAPACITY
FOR THE SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT AND
FIXING COMP NSATION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I: In order to insure a high degree of efficiency, service and
supervision, the Sanitation Department of the City of South Bend is hereby
established as a division of.the Street Department,.
SECTION II: The City Engineer of the City of South Bend is hereby employ
in a supervisory capacity for the sewage disposal plant at an additional
compensation of One Thousand Dollars ($12000,00) per year.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and approval of the Mayor,
