ORDINANCE OANNEXING LANDS TO AND
GLARING S TO BE A PART OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That the following described territory and land in
St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, be and the same is
hereby',annexed to and declared to be a part of the said
City of South Bend;
o that this same described territory and land be
zoned "A" use and "A" height and area district:
Beginning on the North line of Section 26, T. 38 N.,
R. 2 E. at a point forty five hundred twenty -one
(45211) feet East of the Southwest corner of the
Southeast Quarter (1/4) of Section twenty -two (22)
T. 38 N., R. 2 East, which is a point on the West
bank, of the St. Joseph River 10 ft., more or less,
West'of low water mark; thence West, along the
Nortri line of said Section 26, a distance of 702 ft.,
thence South 8 degrees and 45 minutes East 202.00 ft.,
" South 1 degree and 15 minutes East 271.50 ft.,
" South 12 degrees and 45 minutes West 206.00 ft.,

low - rater line of said former channel of the St. Joseph
River to its intersection with the low -water line of
left ',bank of the present channel of the St. Joseph River;
thence Northeasterly along said low -water mark on the
bank of said St. Joseph River to a point on the North
line,of Section 26 T. 38 N., R. 2 East to a point 10 ft.,
more or leas, East of the place of beginning; thence
West'',10 ft ore or less, to the place of beginning.
Containing . 1_.2 Ac , excepting therefrom 1.11 Ace
owned by Sou a Park Department - described as fol-
lows: A strip of ground one hundred (100) ft. wide on
either side of the following described center line:-
