Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council
2014
The May 28, 2014 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council was called to
order by Council President Oliver J. Davis at 3:06 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members Tim Scott, Henry Davis, Jr., Valerie
Schey, Dr. Fred Ferlic, Dr. David Varner, Oliver J. Davis, Gavin Ferlic, and Karen L. White;
Corporation Counsel Cristal Brisco and Council Attorney Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand.
Council President Davis stated that the Executive Session was called pursuant to the
Notice dated May 23, 2013 (attached) which states in part that the meeting is being held pursuant
to Indiana Code § 5- 14- 1.5 -6.1 (b)(2)(B) for the discussion of strategy with respect to pending
litigation filed against the City of South Bend, the South Bend Common Council, etc.
This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was that
contained in the May 23, 2014 "Notice of Executive Session ".
Oliver J. Davis adjourned the meeting at 3:55 p.m.
