AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
(IRELAND ROAD AND FELLOWS STREET)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I: That the following described territory in St. Joseph County,
State of Indiana, be and the same is hereby annexed to and shall constitute
hereafter a part of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
A Tract of Land in the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section Twenty -five (25), Township Thirty -seven
(37) North, Range Two (2) East, described as follows:
Beginning at a point Sixty -six and three tenths (66.3) feet
West of the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter ('k)
of said Section Twenty -five (25), thence West Eighty -one and
seven tenths (81.7) feet, thence South Two Hundred Nineteen
and Ninety -five Hundredths (219.95) feet, thence East Eighty -
one and seven tenths (81.7) feet, thence North Two Hundred
Nineteen and Ninety -five Hundredths (219.95) feet, to the
place of beginning, subject to legal highways.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and legal publication by the Common Council of the City of
South.Bend, Indiana.

Gentlemen:
The attached petition of Melvin Pasalich to annex to the City
of South Bend a tract of land in the northeast - of the south-
west - of Section 25, T37N, R2E, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 66.3 feet west of the northeast I
of the southwest - of section 25, thence west 81.7 feet,
thence south 219.95 feet, thence east 81.7 feet, thence
north 219.95 feet to the place of beginning, subject to
legal highways.
This petition was legally advertised under date of 25 March 1957
and given public hearing under date of 4 April 1957. The following
action was taken.
After due consideration it was moved by Mr. Andrysiak,
seconded by Mr. Muszynski, and unanimously carried that
the petition for annexation be favorably recommended to
the Common Council.
