AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBER 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION 1. Ordinance Number 3702, being the zoning ordinance
of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be amended so that the zoning
classification of the following real estate in the City of South
Bend, Indiana, to -wit:
Lots 4, 5, and 6 of Anthony's Addition
be zoned from "C" Commercial to "A" Residential Use District and "A"
Height and Area District.
And, in Addition
Lots 20 through 23 inclusive, and Lots 27
through 33 inclusive of Belmont Addition
be zoned from "C" Commercial to "A" Residential Use District and HA"
Height and Area District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor

The attached ordinance, originated by your City
Planning Commission, was legally advertised under
date of 25 February 1957, and given public hearing
under date of 7 March 1957• The ordinance seeks to
change the zoning classification from "C" Commercial
to "A" Residential Use District and "A" Height and
Area District, of the following real estate:
Lots 4, 5, and 6 of Anthonyls Addition
and in addition
Lots 20 through 23 inclusive and Lots 27
through 33 inclusive of Belmont Addition
The ado_Ation of the ordinance was favorably recommended
by your Planning Commission.
