AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 3702,
AS AMENDED, WHICH ORDINANCE IS COMMONLY
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA a4 a�. �
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend that
Ordinance No. 3702 be amended as follows:
SECTION I. That the following described land be zoned from Light
and Heavy Industrial zoning to 'B" Use District and "B"
Height and Area District:
Lots on 29=0 side of Indiana Avenue between Grant
Street and 120.8 feet east of the east line of
Olive Street, being more particularly described as
follows:
Lots numbered 1 through 7, inclusive; lots 100
through 113, inclusive; and lots 204 through 210,
inclusive, of Highland Park Replat; and, in addition,
lots 1 through 15, inclusive, and lots 26 through 40,
inclusive, of South Bend Industrial Addition, all in
the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the Mayor of the City of
South Bend, and legal publication.

The attached ordinance originated by your City Planning
Commission was legally advertised under date of 23 July,
1956, and public hearing held on 2 August, 1956. The
area involved is zoned either light or heavy industrially
and used predominantly residentially.
After due consideration, the Commission unanimously
recommends its adoption.
