AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CONTRACTS
BETWEEN SOUTH BEND BOARD OF WATER
WORKS COMMISSIONERS AND CONTRACTORS
FOR LOCATION OF A WELL IN RUM VILLAGE
PARK.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I: That contracts entered into by the South Bend Board of Water
Works Commissioners on May 29 1955 with Layne- Northern Company of Mishawaka,
Indiana for $232960.00 for a well, pumping equipment and electrical work and
with Charles Aulm entered into said date in the amount of $4480.00 for con -
struction of a well house, all to be located in Rum Village Park in the City
of South Bend are hereby approved, ratified and confirmed.
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
