ORDINANCE NO. 150
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF CHAPTER
2 OF GENERAL ORDINANCE NO. 3709, WHICH IS
SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3645 ADOPTED ON
THE 8th DAY OF JUNE, 1948.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That Section 5 of Chapter 2 of General Ordinance No. 3709,
which is Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3645 adopted on the 8th day of June,
1948, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
All officers and employees of the City, and each department, shall
be entitled to fifteen (15) days annual vacation, except that members
of the Fire Department and the Police Department shall be entitled
to twenty -one (21) days annual vacation from the 11th year to the
20th year of their service, inclusive, and further the members of
the Fire Department shall be entitled to twenty -three (23) days
annual vacation from and including their 21st year of service.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the ful-
fillment of all statutory requirements relating thereto.
