ORDINANCE NO. 4139
AN ORDINANCE MENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3208 AND ALL
PREVIOUS MENDMENTS THERETO, C01uONLY KNOWN AS THE
PLU ".QBING CODE FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMON COUNCIL OF THE CIVIL CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION 1
That Ordinance No. 3208 and all previous amendments
thereto, commonly known as the Plumbing Code of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, be and the same is hereby amended by
transferring the power of enforcement for said Ordinance
from the Department of Public Health to the Building Depart-
ment of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 2
Wherever in said Ordinance the Enforcing Officer is
referred to by name or implication, this Ordinance shall
hereby designate such Enforcing Officer to be the Building
Commissioner of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 3
Wherever the Board of Appeals or Board of Health is
now referred to in Ordinance No. 3208, the same shall
hereafter be such body of people or such.individual as may
have similar authority for enforcement of'the Building Code
of the City of South Bend.
SECTION 4
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment,, approval by the Miiayor and legal
publication.
