AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE SOUTH BEND BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND
SAFETY AND THE- MAXIM MOTOR COMPANY OF
MIDDLEBORO* MASSACHUSETTS$ FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE MAXIM CUSTOM BUILT ONE THOUSAND
GALLONS. PER MINUTE TRIPLE COMBINATION ON
MOTORIZED PUMPING FIRE APPARATUS FOR
$23,899.05.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND„
INDIANA:
SECTION L That the contract entered into on the 7th day of January, 1957,
between the South Bend Board of Public Works and Safety and the Maxim
Motor Company of Middleboro, Massachusetts, for the purchase of one Maxim
custom built one thousand gallons per minute triple combination on motorized
pumping fire apparatus for the sum of $23, 899. 05 is hereby approved and
confirmed.
SECTION II This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
