ORDINANCE NO,
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL
FUND $2,175. 00 TO POLICE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT
P -331 - Gasoline, $2, 000. 00, AND TO OFFICE OF THE
CITY JUDGE ACCOUNT E- 216 -A, Transportation Allow-
ance - Bailiff, $50. 00, AND TO OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE
ACCOUNT E-2 16-B Transportation Allowance - Probation
Officer, $125. 00, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA„ FOR 1956 AND DE-
CLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund $2, 175. 00 to Police Department Account P -331 - Gasoline,
$2, 000. 00, and to Office of the City Judge Account E- 216 -A, Transportation
Allowance - Bailiff, $50. 00, and to Office of City Judge Account E -216 -B
Transportation Allowance - Probation Officer, $125. 00, all of the budget
for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, for 1956, and declaring an ex-
traordinary emergency.
SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper "operation and
functioning of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the year
1956 and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said
appropriations.
SECTION"III. This Okdinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill-
ment of all statutory "requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appro-
priations.
