AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND MIDLAND
ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THREE-]PLY TAR AND GRAVEL ROOF FOR THE SIX
MILLION GALLON REINFORCED CONCRETE RESERVOIR
LOCATED AT THE NORTH PUMPING STATION IN THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND FOR $7,716. 00
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA;
SECTION I. That the contract entered into on the 27th day of August, 1956,
between the South Bend City Water Works and Midland Engineering Company,
Inc., for the construction of three -ply tar and gravel roof for the six million
gallon reinforced concrete reservoir located at the north pumping station in
the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the sum of $7, 716. 00, is hereby approved
and confirmed as provided for in Chapter 16 of the .Acts of the- Indiana General
Assembly for the year 1905 and amended under Chapter 16 of the Acts of the Indiana
General Assembly for the year 1923.
SECTION H This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
