AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL
FUND $1,424. 00 TO .OFFICE OF CONTROLLER B252,
REPAIR OF EQUIPMENT $150.00, AND TO OFFICE
EQUIPMENT B725 $1,274. 00 ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR
THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND? INDIANA, FOR 1956
AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION 1: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund $1, 424. 00 to Office of Controller B252, Repair of Equipment
$150. 00 and to Office Equipment B725 $1, 274. 00, all of the budget for
the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, for 1956, and declaring an extraordinary
emergency.
SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and
functioning of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the year
1956 and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said
appropriations.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill-
ment of all statutory requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appro-
priations.
