HomeMy WebLinkAboutAmending Zoning - Section "4-A" by the Addition of the following: (6) Self-Service Laundry EstablishmentsORDINANCE No. 4375 - - -61 Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana MAY 8, �9 61 Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Approved and signed by MAY 9, 61 z9 Clerk of Common Council Clerk IDEAL PRESS NO. %f le` AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS AMENDED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1• That Section "4 -A" of Ordinance No. 3702, (as amended), commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following: establishments, provided: Section 2: (6) self- service laundry 1. Said use is located on a lot adjoining a major thoroughfare as designated by the Major Thoroughfare Plan for the City of South Bend. 2. Illuminated signs shall not have source of light visible nor project intermittent or flashing lights. 3. One improved off - street parking space shall be provided on the same lot as the princi- pal building for every three principal operating machines. 4. Before the issuance of a building permit the proposed parking area and all proposed improvements thereto shall be submitted to the Board for approval. And the same shall be subject to any reasonable condi- tions that the Board may impose. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publication. an- V;uE* i RF.
