ORDINANCE NO, 6 gf
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS
AND LAYNE NORTHERN FOR THE PURCHASE OF
A 150 HORSE POWER AUXILLIARY MOTOR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the contract entered into on the 9th day of April, 1956
between the South Bend City Water Works and Layne Northern of the City
of Mishawaka, Indiana, for the purchase of a 150 horse power auxilliary
motor is hereby approved and confirmed as provided for in Chapter 16
of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly for the year 1905 and amended
under Chapter 16 of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly for the year
1923.
SECTION II.r This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
