AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL
FUND $280. 00 TO OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE,, ACCOUNT
E216A TRAVEL EXPENSES - BAILIFF,.$200. 00 AND TO
OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE. ACCOUNT 21613, TRAVEL
EXPENSES - PROBATION OFFICER, $80. 00, ALL OF THE
BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
FOR 1957, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the General
Fund $280. 00 to Office of City Judge, Account 216A Travel Expenses - Bailiff
$200. 00 and to Office of City Judge, Account 216B Travel Expenses - Probation
Officer $80. 00, all of the budget for the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana for 1957
and declaring an extraordinary emergency.
SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and functioning
of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the year 1957 and an
extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said appropriation.

SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after

its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment
of all statutory requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appropriations.
