AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
(East of Ironwood Drive., North
of Edison Road.)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND$ INDIANA
Section 1
That the following described territory in St. Joseph
County) State of Indiana$ be$ and the same is hereby annexed
to and shall constitute hereafter a part of the City of South
Bend$ Indiana$ to -wit:
A tract or parcel of land in the South One -half
of the Southwest Quarter of Section Thirty -two
(32)$ Township Thirty -eight (38) North$ Range
Three (3) East$ containing Thirty -six and Two
Hundred Seventy -three Thousandths (36.273) acres$
more particularly described as follow
Beginning in the center line of Edison Road at a
point Eight Hundred Fifty -eight (858) feet East
of the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter
of Section Thirty -two (32) Township Thirty -eight
(38) North$ Range Three (3; East; thence North
Six Hundred Sixty and Fifty Hundredths (660.50)
feet parallel with the East line of Ironwood
Drive to the South line of a tract heretofore
conveyed to Clay Township School; thence East
One Hundred Eighty -nine (189) feet; thence North
Six Hundred Sixty -one and Three Hundredths (661.03)
feet to the center line of Rose Street; thence
East with the center line of said Rose Street a
distance of Nine Hundred Forty -one and Sixty -three
Hundredths (941.63) feet; thence South Three Hun-
dred Thirty (330) feet; thence East Two Hundred
Nine (209) feet$ more or less to the Northwest
corner of Lot Numbered Six (6; in Eastgate Estates
Addition in the City of South Bend as recorded in
Plat Book E at page 19 of the records of St.Joseph
County., Indiana; thence South Nine Hundred Ninety -
six (996) feet$ more or less$ to the center line
of Edison Road; thence West with the center line
of Edison Road a distance of One Thousand Three
Hundred Forty -one and Thirty -four Hundredths (1341.34)
feet$ more or less., to the place of beginning.

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and legal publication by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
