AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL
FUND $600. 00 TO OFFICE OF THE MAYOR, ACCOUNT
A -214, TELEPHONE & TELEGRAMS, $300. 00; AND TO
OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF WORKS, ACCOUNT H -214,
TELEPHONE & TELEGRAMS, $300. 00, ALL OF THE
BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
FOR 1957 AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY
EMERGENCY.
BE'IT- ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION I: The following sum of money is hereby appropriate from the
General Fund $600. 00 to Office of the Mayor, Account A -214, .1 elephone &
Telegrams, $300. 00; and to Office of the Board of Works, Account H -214,
Telephone & Telegrams, $300. 00, all of the budget for the Civil City of
South Bend, Indiana, for 1957 and declaring an extraordinary emergency.
SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operation and
functioning of the aforementioned department under the budget for the year
1957 and an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said
appropriation. t
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill-
ment of all statutory requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appro-
priations.
