ORDINANCE NO. 4173
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FROM FIRE DEPARTMENT
ACCOUNT Q -11, Services Personal, $11, 895. 00 TO FIRE
DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT Q -38, General Supplies, $1, 000. 00;
FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT Q -451 Parts of Equipment,
$4,770. 00; FIRE DEPARTMENT Q -721 Furniture and Fixtures,
$750. 00; FIRE DEPARTMENT Q -726 Other Equipment,
$5,375. 00; ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF
SOUTH BEND FOR 1957, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION I: The following sum of money is hereby transferred from Fire
Department Account Q -11, Services Personal, $11, 895. 00 to Fire Department
Account Q -38, General Supplies, $1; 000. 00; Fire Department Account Q -451
Parts of Equipment, $4,770. 00; Fire Department Q -721 Furniture and
Fixtures, $750. 00; Fire Department Q--726 Other Equipment, $5, 375. 00;
all of the budget for the year 1957 of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana,
and declaring an extraordinary emergency.
SECTION II. The above funds are required for the proper. operation and
function of the aforementioned departments under the budget for.1957, and
an emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the ful-
fillment of all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
