AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL
FUND $6,844.00 TO CITY CEMETERY ACCOUNT N -11,
SALARY OF SEXTON $600. 00; TO ACCOUNT N -12 REGULAR
AND TEMPORARY LABOR $6,144. 00; AND TO ACCOUNT
N -331 GASOLINE $100.00, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE
CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR 1958, AND
DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. The following sum of money is hereby appropriated from the General
Fund $6, 844.00 to City Cemetery, Account N -11 Salary of Sexton $600.00; Account
N -12 Regular and Temporary Labor (four men @ $1. 60 per hour for six months)
$6, 144.00; and to Account No. N -331 Gasoline $100. 00, all of the budget for the
Civil City of South Bend, Indiana for 1958 and declaring an extraordinary emergency.
SECTION II. The above funds are required for the proper operation and functioning
of the aforementioned departments under the budget for the year 1958 and an
extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning said appropriation.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment
of all statutory requirements relating
