AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE YEAR 1960
FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana;
Section 1 That there be and hereby is levied the following
amounts for the year 1960 on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of
assessed valuation of property in the City of South Bend, Indiana,
as fixed by the officers of St. Joseph County and State of Indiana
for the object named.

Section 2 That there shall be levied a Poll Tax of Fifty (50p)
Cents on every Male inhabitant of said City, sane and not a pauper, of the
age of twenty -one years and not over the age of fifty years.
Section 3 This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council and it proval by the Mayor,
and legal publication. /
