AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF HOKE
STREET IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND FROM THE
3300 BLOCK TO AND INCLUDING THE 3500 BLOCK
OF HOKE STREET TO WOODMONT DRIVE
WHEREAS, a new street is being farmed, which is to be known
as Woodmont Drive, and
WHEREAS, said Woodmont Drive will run into what is now Hoke
Street from the 3300 block of Hoke Street to and including the 3500 block of
Hoke Street, and
WHEREAS, it is desirous that said3300 block to and including
the 3500 block of Hoke Street be changed to Woodmont Drive, and
WHEREAS, it is desirous to have uniformity in the names of
streets in the City of South Bend.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by theCommon Council
of the Civil City of South Bend:
SECTION I< That the name Hoke Street from the 3300 block to and including
the 3500 block thereof, be and is hereby changed to Woodmont Drive.
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend and its
approval by the Mayor.
