AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE CITY WATER WORKS OF SOUTH BEND AND
O. J. SHOEMAKER, INC., FOR THE EXTENSION OF
WATER SERVICES AND THE RE- LOCATION OF CURB
BOXES ON WESTERN AVENUE FROM MAPLE STREET
TO TAYLOR STREET IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the contract entered into on the 29th day of June, -'
1959, between the City Water Works of South Bend and 0. J. Shoemaker,
Inc., for the extension of water services and the re- location of curb
boxes on Western Avenue, from Maple Street to Taylor Street, in the
city of South Bend for the sum of Four Thousand Eight Hundred
Forty ($4, 840. 00) Dollars is hereby approved and confirmed, as
provided for in Chapter 16 of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly
for the year 1905, and amended under Chapter 16 of the Acts of the
Indiana General Assembly for the year 1923.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
