AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, AS HERETOFORE
AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1:
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended and
supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented
by the zoning of the following described property as "C" Com-
mercial Use District and 11C11 Height and Area District:
One -half of Lots 215 and 216 in Kaley's 2nd Sub,
beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 215 in a
straight line going East for 86 feet, more or less,
to the Southeast corner of Lot 216, thence in a
straight line going North 64 feet, more or less, thence
in a-straight line going West for 86 feet, more or
less, then in a straight line going South for 64 feet
to the place of beginning.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publication.

given public hearing under date
The following action was taken:

on August 22, 1960 and
of September 8, 1960.
After due consideration the Commission found
that since a commercial establishment has been
located upon the subject property for many years
and commercial zoning exists on the other three
corners of subject intersection the petition
should be granted. It was therefore duly
moved, seconded and unanimously carried that
the petition be recommended favorably to the
Common Council.
