AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COAMN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
IDD IANA :
Section 1:
That the following described property in St. Joseph
County, State of.Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought with-
in the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the North half
of the Southwest quarter which point is also the West
one - quarter section corner of Section 30, Township 37
North, Range 3 East; thence East 3940 feet more or less
along the North line of the North half of the South half
of said Section 30, thence South 1322 feet more or less
along the ;East line of the Northwest one - quarter of the
Southeast one - quarter to the South line of the North
half of the South half of said Section 30; thence
Westerly 3928 feet more or less along the said South
line of the North half of the South half and to the
West line of said Section 30; thence North 1317 feet
more or less to place of beginning, containing 119.22
acres more or less.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.

PETITION TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY
TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA
TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
The undersigned hereby petition your Honorable Body to
annex to and bring within the City of South Bend, Indiana the
following described property in St. Joseph County, State of
Indiana, which is contiguous to lands now within such City:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the North half
of the Southwest quarter which point is also the West
one - quarter section corner of Section 30, Township 37
North, Range 3 East; thence East 3940 feet more or less
along the North line of the North half of the South half
of said Section 30; thence'South 1322 feet more or less
along the East line of the Northwest one - quarter of the
Southeast one - quarter to the South line of the North
half of the South half of said Section 30; thence
Westerly 3928 feet more or less along the said South
line of the North half of the South half and to the
West line of said Section 30; thence North 1317 feet
more or less to place of beginning, containing 119.22
acres more or less.
The undersigned constitute all the owners of the above de-
scribed property which is requested to be annexed.
There accompanies this petition a proposed Ordinance annex-
ing the above described property to the City of South Bend,
Indiana.
