AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS IN THE OFFICE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY - OFFICE OF THE BOARD WHEREAS: Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary emergencies: SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINEDy by the Common Council of the City of South Benda Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31,E 1960, the following sums of money are hereby appropriated and set apart out of the several funds herein named and for the pur- poses herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same, and such sums herein appropriated shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made during the year, unless otherwise expressly stipulated and provided by law. SECTION IL That for said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated out of the various city funds hereinafter named, the following specified amounts to meet such extraordinary emergencies, as follows: GENERAL FUND Account ^ K-251 Repairs to Buildings 371.87 SECTION III« WHEREAS: It has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes herein for which appropriated, it is therefore, further ordained by the aforesaid Common Council that such unnecessary existing appropriations are now reduced in amounts as follows: GENERAL FUND Lepai"umenG 0I YUMIC works and Safety - Office of the Board Account » H -58 Contingencies $1,371.87 SECTION IV.
