Section 1:
That the following described property in St. Joseph
County, State of Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought
within the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Beginning at a point on the south line of the
Southwest One Quarter of Section 32, T38N,
R3E, 726 feet east of the southwest corner of
the Southwest One Quarter of said Section 32,
thence north a distance of 660 feet, more or
less, thence east a distance of 132 feet, more
or less, thence south a distance of 660 feet,
more or less, to the south line of the South-
west One Quarter of said Section 32, thence
west a distance of 132 feet to the place of
beginning containing 2 acres and being more
generally described as a parcel of land fronting
on Edison Road 726 feet east of Ironwood Road
and bounded on the east and west by the pre-
sent city limits.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publica-
tion.

THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1:

The attached petition of the Common Council to annex to
the City of South Bend, Indiana a parcel of land being
more generally described as fronting on Edison Road 726
feet east of Ironwood Road and bounded on the east and
west by the present city limits containing 2 acres,
more or less, was legally advertised under date of
January 23, 1962 and given public hearing on February
11 1962. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the six determinants of annexation exist.
It was therefore duly moved., seconded, and
unanimously carried that the petition be recom-
mended favorably to the Council.
