BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No.3702, as heretofore amended
and supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and
supplement by zoning as "A" Residential. Use and "A" Height
and Area District the following described property:
Beginning at the intersection of the south right -of-
way line of Hepler Street and the west right -of -way
line of Hickory Road, thence south along the west
right -of -way line of Hickory Road a distance of 786
feet, more or less, thence west a distance of 532 feet,
more or less, thence north a distance of 786 feet,more
or less to the south right -of -way of Hepler Street,
thence east along the south right -of -way line of Hepler
Street a distance of 532 feet, more or less, to the
place of beginning.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.

Gentlemen:

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to
zone "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District
the recently annexed land being generally described as a
parcel of land 532 feet ea ,§t °..and west by 786 feet north
and south at the southwest corner of Hepler Street and
Hickory Road was legally advertised under date of September
247 1962 and given public hearing on October 4, 1962.
The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found that
the best zoning for the area would be residential.
It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously
carried that the petition be recommended favorably
to the Council.
