AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING
^HONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended,
be and the same is hereby amended and. supplemented by
changing the zoning classification of the following
described property from "C" Commercial Use and "C" Height
and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height
and Area ftstr'lct:
Lots Numbered 43 -48, 51 -540 83 -86, 89 -94 inclusive,
Linden Place Addition, being more generally described
as both sides of Florence Street between Brookfield
Street and College Street.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and
legal publication.

The attached petition of the City Planning Commission
to zone from "C" Commercial Use and "C" Height and Area
District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area
District Lots Numbered 43 -48, 51 -547 83 -861 89 -94
inclusive, Linden Place Addition, being more generally
described as both sides of 'Florence Street between
Brookfield Street and. College Street was legally
advertised under date of August 27, 1962 and given
public hearing on September 6, 1962. The following
action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the best zoning for the property would be
residential. It was therefore duly moved,
seconded, and unanimously carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the
Council.
