HomeMy WebLinkAboutZoning - South Right-of-Way line of Roosevelt St and East Right-of-Way line of Ironwood RdORDINANCE No. 4438 - - -62 Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, FEBRUARY 26, ,,, 62 4� Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, FEBRUARY 27, — 62 Clerk Of Common Council Clerk Approved and signed by me FEBRUARY 27, 19 62 IDEAL IM PRESS ORDINANCE NO. `f 13 g' � )� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, AS HERETOFORE AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1• That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended and supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and supple- mented by zoning as "C" Commercial Use and "A" Height and Area District the following described property: Beginning at a point in the Southwest One Quarter of Section 32, T38N, R3E, at the intersection of the south right -of -way line of Roosevelt Street and the east right -of -way line of Ironwood Road, thence south along the east right =of -way line of Ironwood Road a distance of 305 feet, more or less; thence east a distance of 154 feet; more or less; thence north a distance of 305,feet, more or less, to the south right -of -way line of Roosevelt Street, thence west along the south right -of =way line of Roosevelt Street a distance of 154 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning. A"'. 111, or PuxxIRG The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to zone the recently annexed. land being more generally de- scribed as being a parcel of land. 305 feet north and south by 154 feet east and west at the southeast corner of Ironwood Road and Roosevelt Street "C" Commercial Use and "All Height and Area District was legally advertised under date of January 22, 1962 and given public hearing on February 1, 1962. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that this is the most logical zoning for said. area and that substantial justice would be done by the granting of the petition.
