OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIAN/, AS AMENDED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1• That Section 18, Sub - Section E -(2) of Ordinance No. 3702, (as amended), commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following: (f) Fairs displays, shows and exhibits. Provided that: 1 They are con ucted by public or semi" public voluntary organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Campfire Girls, Izaak Walton League, 4 -H Fair; (2) The parcel of land is not less than ten (10) acres in area; (3) All buildings, structures, and uses shall be located not less than one hundred (100) feet from adjoining property lines; (4) Adequate off - street parking shall be provided and shall be located not less than fifty (50) feet from the nearest property line; (5) All required setback areas shall be permanently maintained as open space, except for walks, driveways, fences, and structures or buildings for admission control; (6) That there be no housing of animals except in connection with exhibits. Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal Publication. The attached proposed ordinance originated. by the City Planning Commission to amend Section 18, Sub - section E- (2) of Ordinance No. 3702, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, was legally advertised. under date of December 23, 1961 and given public hearing on January 4, 1962. The following action was taken: After due consideration it was moved, seconded . and unanimously carried that this proposed . ordinance be recommended favorably to the Com- mon Council.
