AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Section "9" of Ordinance No. 3702, (as
amended), commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, is hereby amended by the addition
thereto of the following:
E. Except lots of record on the effective date
of this ordinance no lot or parcel of land shall
be used for residential purposes, if said lot
or parcel is less then 60 feet in width at the
setback line and less then 6,000 square feet
in area.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.

Planning Commission relative to Section "9" of Ordi-
nance No. 3702, (as amended), commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana was
legally advertised under date of October 23, 1961 and.
given public hearing on November 2, 1961. The following
action was taken:
After due consideration it was moved, seconded
and unanimously carried. that this proposed
ordinance be recommended favorably to the Com-
mon Council.
