AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Section "4 -A" of Ordinance No. 3702, (as
amended), commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, is hereby amended by deleting therefrom
the following:
(10) Grocery and food stores, so that the same shall
be and read as follows:
(10) Grocery, meat market.
Also, by addition thereto of the following:
(15) Banks
(16) Laundry or dry cleaning pick -up stations.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.

The attached proposed ordinance originated by the City
Planning Commission relative to Section 114 —A11 of Ordi-
nance No. 3702, (as amended), commonly known as the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana was
legally advertised under date of October 23, 1961 and
given public hearing on November 2, 1961. The following
action was taken:
After due consideration it was moved, seconded
and unanimously carried that this proposed
ordinance be recommended favorably to the Com-
mon Council.
