AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPRORIATIONS IN
THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION FUND - $3.00. 00
WHEREAS: Certain extraordinary conditions have devebped since the adoption
of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of
City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies:
SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government
and its institution for the year ending December 31, 1962, the
following sum of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the
fund herein named and for the purpose herein specified subject to
the laws governing the same, and such sum herein appropriated
shall be held to include all expenditures authorized to be made
during the year, unless otherwise expressly stipulated and pro-
vided by law.
SECTION H. That for said fiscal year there is hereby appropriated out of the
various City Funds hereinafter named, the following specified
amounts to meet such extraordinary emergencies, as follows:
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION FUND
Account No. 242 - Publication of Notices 125.00
Account No. 55 - Subscriptions and Dues 75.00
Account No. 62 - Social Security - City's share 100.00
$300.00
SECTION III. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations
now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the
purposes herein for which appropriated, it is therefore, further
ordained by the aforesaid Common Council that such unnecessary
existing appropriations are now reduced in amounts as follows:
CITY PLANNING COMMISSION FUND
Account No. 321 - Gasoline 75.00
Account No. 363 - Other Office Supplies 100.00
City Planning - General Fund 125.00
$300.00
SECTION IV. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the
fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
