ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
IN THE FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES COMMISSION
FUND -- $30.63
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption
of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more
money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of
City Government to meet such extraordinary emergencies:
SECTION I. BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City
Government and its institutions for the year ending Dec-
ember 31, 1962, the following sums of money are hereby
appropriated and set apart out of the several funds herein
named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to
the laws governing the same, and such sums herein ap-
propriated shall be held to include all expenditures
authorized to be made during the year, unless otherwise
expressly stipulated and provided by law.
SECTION II. That for said fiscal year, there is hereby appropriated out
of the various City Funds hereinafter named, the following
specified amount to -meet such extraordinary emergencies,
as follows:
FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES COMMISSION FUND
Account No. 214 - Telephone and Telegraph $30. 63
SECTION III. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropria-
tions now have unobligated balances which will not be needed
for the purposes herein for which appropriated, it is therefore,
further ordained by the aforesaid Common Council that such
unnecessary existing appropriations are now reduced in
amounts as follows:

Account No. 725 '- Office Equipment $30.63
SECTION IV. This Ordinancb shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor
and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emergency
appropriations.
