BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended and
supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and supple-
mented by zoning as "C" Commercial Use and "A" Height and
Area District the following described property:
Beginning at a point in the Southeast One Quarter of
Section 31, T38N, R34 at the intersection of the
north right -of -way line of Edison Road and the west
right -of -way line of Ironwood Road, thence north
along the west right -of -way line of Ironwood Road
a distance of 620 feet, thence south a distancee
of 620 feet to the north right -of -way line of
Edison Road, thence east along the north right -of-
way line of Edison Road a distance of 290 feet,
more or less, to the place of beginning.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.

Under date of June 14, 1962 the South Bend City Planning
Commission took the following action relative to your
recommendation that the recently annexed land being
generally described as a parcel of land 620 feet north
and..south by 290 feet east and west at the northwest
corner of Edison and Ironwood Roads be zoned "C -1" Com-
mercial Use:
After due consideration the Commission again
found that in their opinion subject area should
be zoned "C" Commercial Use.
