BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,

Section 1•
That Zoning Ordinance No. 3702, as heretofore amended and
supplemented, be and the same is hereby amended and supple-
mented by zoning as "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and
Area District the following described property:
Beginning at a point on the south line of the South-
west One Quarter of Section 32, T38N, R3E, 726 feet
east of the southwest corner of the Southwest One
Quarter of said Section 32, thence north a distance
of 660 feet, more or less, thence east a distance of
132 feet; more or less; thence south a distance of
660 feet, more or less, to the south line of the
Southwest One Quarter of said Section 32, thence
west a distance of 132 feet to the place of be-
ginning containing 2 acres and being more generally
described as a parcel of land fronting on Edison
Road 726 feet east of Ironwood Road and bounded on
the east and west by the present city limits.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publica-
tion.

The attached proposed ordinance originated by the City
Planning Commission to zone "A" Residential Use and
"A" Height and. Area District the recently annexed land
being generally described as fronting on Edison Road
726 feet east of Ironwood Road and bounded on the east
and west by the present city limits containing 2 acres,
more or less, was legally advertised under date of
March 26, 1962 and given public hearing on April 5,
1962. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that this is the most logical zoning for said
area and that substantial justice would be
done by the granting of the proposed ordinance.
It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and
unanimously carried that the proposed ordinance
be recommended favorably to the Council.
