ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section 1:
That the following described property in St. Joseph
County, State of Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought
within the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Beginning at a point on the Southwest One Quarter
of Section 32, T38N, R3E, at the southwest cor-
ner of Lot Number 638, Wilmette Park 3rd Addition,
thence east 140.08 feet, more or less, to the
southeast corner of said Lot Number 638, thence
north 195 feet, more or less, to the northeast
corner of Lot Number 639 of said Addition, thence
west 139.91 feet, more or less, to the northwest
corner of said Lot Number 639, thence south 195
feet, more or less, to the place of beginning con-
taining .6 acres, more or less.
Section 2•
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal publica-
tion.

The attached petition of the Common Council to annex to
the City of South Bend, Indiana a parcel of land generally
described as consisting of two lots at the northwest and
southwest corners of Bryan Street and Crestwood Boulevard,
said parcel containing .6 acres, more or less, was legally
advertised under date of March 26, 1962 and given public
hearing on April 5, 1962. The following action was taken:
After due consideration the Commission found
that the six determinants of annexation exist.
It was thereBore duly moved, seconded, and
unanimously carried that the petition be recom-
mended favorably to the Council.
